Every dog's paw is different, and front and back paws are often different sizes too. Measure each paw individually while your dog is standing, and if you're between sizes, size up. A slightly looser sock is easier to get on and off than one that's too snug.

Most dog socks lose their grip the moment they twist on the paw.

Ours don't. The traction pattern wraps all the way around the sole, so no matter which way the sock rotates during movement, your dog still has grip touching the ground.

Combined with a buttonless strap that won't rub or cause sores, it's traction that actually holds up to real movement, not just standing still.

Roll the sock down, spread it open with both thumbs, and slide their paw in fully.

Pull the toe out slightly so their toes have room to spread naturally.

Wrap the strap snug around the ankle, not tight.

It should stay secure without restricting movement. Most dogs adjust within a few minutes of wear.

Will these hold up if my dog wears them outside?

They're built for indoor use on hard floors like hardwood, tile, and laminate. They can handle short trips outside, but extended wear on rough pavement or concrete will wear down the grip faster. For daily outdoor walks, we'd recommend a dedicated outdoor boot instead.

My dog's front and back paws are different sizes. What should I order?

This is common. Measure each paw individually while your dog is standing with weight on it, and order the size that matches each paw. Many customers order two different sizes, one for front paws and one for back.

Can these stop my dog from licking a wound or hot spot?

Yes. Because the sock fully covers the paw, it acts as a barrier that prevents direct licking while still letting your dog walk normally, unlike a cone which restricts movement.

Are they machine washable?

Yes. Wash on a gentle cycle and air dry. We don't recommend the dryer, as heat can affect the elasticity of the fabric over time.

How do I know if the strap is too tight or too loose?

You should be able to fit one finger comfortably between the strap and your dog's leg. If it's tighter than that, loosen it. If the sock slides down during walking, tighten it slightly.
